Connection Group Leader Notes: March 7–13, 2021
Dear Big Idea Group Leader,
Thank you for your willingness to dig into the Word of God and bring to life the Sunday message. The following outline and questions below are not designed that you need to answer each question, but created to be more of a guide for your journey of discovery! You will still need to look into the text, study, and be ready to take your group of friends to a place where they can know what God is saying, and how they can respond.
Each Group should end with the question, "What are we going to do with what we have learned?"

Nehemiah 6:15-16, 7:1-6

What is a project that you either did yourself or helped complete, that you were very proud and satisfied with?
What was so special about finishing it?
When you are faced with a difficult task or project, how much time do you spend praying before you start?
Nehemiah spent 4 months in prayer and fasting, and the project took 52 days to complete.
What does that communicate to you?

What made it possible to complete the wall in 52 days after over 100 years being in ruins and destroyed?
What qualifies Hanani for his position?
Discuss the Fear of God and Faithful - make this discussion real and as transparent as possible
How do you know on a daily basis if you have the "fear of God" or not?
What steps does Nehemiah take to secure the city of Jerusalem?
What are we at Bridge City Church, needing to commit to "watch over"?
What prevents you personally from committing? What makes it easy to commit?
What does it mean in 2021 to be "registered" for the work that God has for us?
