Read Matthew 28:18-20

Read Acts 1:8

  • What is significant about Jesus’ statement in Matthew 28?

  • In the moment, how do you think the disciples felt about Jesus’ command?

Prerequisite #1:  Perspective that heaven and hell are real

Read Hebrews 9:27

Read Ezekiel 18:23

  • How could a focus upon the reality of hell help you stay urgent about sharing your faith?

  • What does it tell you about our God, that He hurts when the wicked die?

Prerequisite #2:  People matter to God

Action Steps:

  1. Praying for fresh filling of Holy Spirit.
This is not complicated. If the person has repented of known sin, and asks in faith, God loves to pour out His Spirit. (Luke 11:11-13)

Have them ask for fresh infilling and you agree with them.

  1. Who are you going to B.L.E.S.S?

  2. Consider a time frame to reach out to them. Touch back on this next week.

Vision Opportunities:

OVERFLOW

  • Ladies to attend

  • Men to serve the ladies creating an atmosphere of care and honor

VICTORY & FREEDOM (October 16)

  • This is an opportunity to learn more about Holy Spirit baptism
